The Golden Pencil: The Freelance Writer’s Resource

Commercial Writing Is a Lucrative Venue

by Anne Wayman on June 15th, 2005

The Well-Fed Writer: Back For Seconds A Second Helping Of Commercial or corporate writing can earn you a handsome income and Peter Bowerman tells you how to do it. In his second book on the subject, The Well-Fed Writer: Back For Seconds, A Second Helping he details the whole process from getting clients to how to get the writing done in ways that will bring your clients back over and over again. In fact, if you’ve ever considered commercial writing, this is a must-have book.

But I think this book is really for any freelance writer, regardless of specialty. Why? Because we all have to sell ourselves and our services, and most of us don’t like it much. Bowerman addresses selling our writing services in a variety of ways, and he does it in a down-to-earth, reassuring fashion.

Get a sense of his style and information in an article he wrote for me at: Write For Food (& Good Money, Nice Vacations, Flexible Lifestyle, and More…

You can read my complete review of this book or you can order it right now.

Write well and often.
