22 New Jobs
Yes, even on U.S. holiday, Labor Day, we have 22 new freelance writing and editing jobs posted.
As I create the job list twice a week (see Where I Search) I am, of course, also looking for writing jobs for myself. When I find a freelance gig that looks like a possible for me, I do one of two things:
- If the ad calls for a resume and clips, I use the email contact in the add to send a short message that says something like, I can (pick up a phrase from their ad). My resume and samples are at www.annewayman.com/resume.htm.
- If, however, the add calls for something more like a cover letter, or some other specifics, I send myself an email with a subject line of apply, and the link to the ad. That way, later in the day, I can go through them and take appropriate action.
