Surprised By a Book on Book Proposals
I’ve just finished reading The Everything Guide to Writing a Book Proposal by Meg Schneider and Barbara Doyen well, that isnt quite right. The book is really more of a reference book and I cant say that I read every word. I did read a whole bunch though, and Ive already read more than one section once.
Although the book is focused on book proposals, its much more than that. Theres all sorts of solid information about how the publishing industry really works, what you can expect from an agent and even a helpful section on taxes, for crying out loud.
And I thought I knew a lot about proposals I do, but I also learned some things that will be really valuable as I put a couple of them together.
I highly recommend The Everything Guide to Writing a Book Proposal.
Write well and often,
