The Golden Pencil: The Freelance Writer’s Resource

33 New Jobs for Freelance Writers and Editors

by Anne Wayman on January 3rd, 2006

We start 2006 with 33 new freelance writing and editing jobs.

Every time I search for freelance writing jobs to post - and remember, my definition of a true freelance job is one you can do without leaving home - I’m also searching for myself. Sometimes I’m leary of a posting; if I can track something down about the post in a hurry, I may go ahead and link. On the other hand, if I can’t, or it just feels wrong, I’ll skip it.

That said, I don’t know any more about the jobs I post than you do - what you see is what you get. So apply, but smartly. Insist on some sort of contract… or letter of agreement. An email trail that spells out the specifics can be enough.

Write well and often,

Anne Wayman, Freelance Writer
