Writing Time - Carving Up The Day

by Anne Wayman on January 30th, 2006

I don’t know about you, but I struggle to balance the writing work I do for paying clients and the writing I do for myself – the books, I want to write, the residual income I want to build. I just told a sales guy, who phoned while I was writing an article, that I wanted 10 more hours in the day.

So I’m trying a new plan. The first two hours of writing each day are mine! I’ll start the work for clients at about 10; they get the rest of my day along with the invoice. I can already tell this won’t work tomorrow, but I think it will the rest of the week. I’ll keep you posted.

Meantime, you may want to read Carving Up/Carving Out Writing Time

Write well and often,
