Websites and Writers
I’m a great believer in websites for writers. First, I think every writer should have a site that promotes them as a writer. My www.annewayman.com does that for me. Every now and again someone finds me through google or some other link and hires me. It’s usually someone I never would have met any other way.
Of course, I’ve gone further and created www.aboutfreelancewriting.com. There are over 100 articles about freelance writing and a place where you can buy the ebooks I’ve written on freelance writing.
The problem with websites, however, is they occasionally need updating. I just went through all my ebooks and brought them current – changed some prices, and made sure that everything links properly. Sounds easy enough, but it’s one of those niggly chores I’m not really good at… or maybe I am. I don’t know how long it would take a real web designer to do it all, but it sure seemed like a long time to me.
Write well, and often,

Take a look at the store – you might find something you want.
