80 New Jobs for Freelance Writers!

by Anne Wayman on April 11th, 2006

80 New Jobs for Freelance Writers! - another new high! I’ve got to figure out how to get paid for these freelance writing job postings… I do pick up nickles (which are appreciated) from google, but…

Again I’m seeing repeats of some ads. Obviously some publishers/employers are having trouble finding good freelance writers. I also know writers get jobs from these postings… so go for it.

Write well and often,

Last fall I did apply and receive a phone call about a workers compensation freelance writing gig, but it didn’t go very well. I’m hearing impaired and couldn’t understand a single word the interviewer was saying. She and I became frustrated by my asking her to repeat every single word she just hung up on me. I was polite and related I was hearing impaired, could she speak up and enunciate. What a wasted opportunity. So, these postings do work!

I’m sorry you had such trouble… is there something you can do at your end so you can hear more clearly? Special phone? I’m so ignorant on this subject.

An organization gave me a captioned telephone, unfortunately it wasn’t connected yet at that point. When I make a little more income, i’ll need to get a 2nd phone line put in so all conversations can be captioned. Until then, I can turn up the volume and ask callers to speak up and enunciate. I’m not shy about that. *G*
