Solstice!
It’s the first day of summer… and I almost missed it. A time when the sun seems to change it’s position because of the axis of our planet… a move toward shorter days in the northern hemisphere and, using the provincial “down under,” starts moving toward longer days.
I love the way it all works… and that through science we even have some understanding of the wheel of time. I say “some understanding” because it regardless of the science, it still feels mystical to me.
I also love that summer is really just beginning, that here in the north at least, we still have lots of warm weather, and even beach weather for those of us along the coast. I seem to be solar powered just like my kitty, MzTiz, who is currently lounging in the garden.
Lots of natural light sparks my creativity and my writing. How about you?
