One of the joys of freelance writing is the ability to control your time; one of the problems is that it’s tempting to work too hard.
Of course, working too hard or too much is a highly individual decision. But grinding away hour after hour at the computer is bound to cut off your creativity and make you miserable. Time away from work allows new ideas to develop. So monitor yourself. Give your self breaks during the work day and days off during the work week. You and you’re writing will be better for it.
