Book Proposal – Moments of Doubt

by Anne Wayman on September 10th, 2006

As I rework the marketing section of my book proposal, I’ve stumbled into some marketing resources I didn’t know about. Remember, one of the challenges in marketing Powerfully Recovered! is that the audience is the anonymous 12 Stepper. For example, I’ve discovered a list of 53 treatment centers right here in San Diego, where I live.

Treatment centers are obvious targets for this book. Sigh, but as I work out the numbers, even if all 53 bought 10 copies each the book still hasn’t begun to reach its full potential, which I truly believe is at least 100,000 copies. And although I know how to market this I simply lack the financial resources to do so…

…no, my plan to offer this to a publisher and get some help marketing still makes sense. Which doesn’t mean I won’t get out 53 emails to local treatment centers before long… back to editing the marketing section.

Write well and often,
