Book Proposal – Three More Markets
My original market list had 7 publishers; I added one I already knew about. Today, from that first list I’ve identified three more.
One wants only a query letter – if they like the letter, they will ask for the proposal. You’ve simply got to read the submission guidelines… I feel best when I read the guidelines on WritersMarket.com AND the publisher’s website. If WritersMarket doesn’t list the site, I google it.
So two proposals and one query letter will go out today, well maybe tomorrow. Time is creeping by in a heck of a hurry. And it probably, no, most definitely, makes more sense to search out some more publishers than to get in the car and drive to the post office.
