Best Way to Submit Writing Clips

by Anne Wayman on September 27th, 2006

Q.gifWhat’s the best way to submit writing clips?

This has been a discussion on our fourm for several days now. As you might guess, there is more than one answer.

A.gif Solutions include include:

  • Making and keeping at least 10 copies of your best clips, each with a header containing your contact information and where and when the clip appeared.
  • Turning clips into .pdf files, again with contact and publishing info on each. And yes, you can use the original word processing file to do this.
  • Put word processing files and/or .pdf files on your own website.
  • Link to the actual clips if they are online - but check frequently as this sort of link tends to disappear.
  • Scan your clips, then copy them. Use color copies if you’ve got great graphics.

Now, how do you handle your clips?

Write well and often,
