This Writer’s Travel Goat Dance

Maybe it’s because I don’t travel that much, but the day before I leave is always a goat dance. Yesterday I:

• Wrote blogs for a client and emailed the entries for the days I’d be gone.
• Wrote blogs ahead for this blog, remembering to tick the little edit time stamp box ;)
• Watered the whole garden - something I usually spread out over a day or three.
• Decided I had to have a new pair of shoes - shoe shopping always takes longer than planned.
• Packed a 25 page outline from a client to read on the airplane.
• Cleaned the house.
• Updated the MzTiz SOP and made sure Eric, who is taking care of MzTiz while I’m gone understood the instructions.
• Packed - and put all my liquids, gells, etc. in the bag I’ll check through.
• Put my lipstick in a clear plastic bag in my purse - do you feel safer?
• Purged my email and unsubscribed to several newsletters I always mean to read later.
