Book Proposal – Still Some Out There
As many of you know, I’ve submitted nine book proposals about my self-published book, Powerfully Recovered! Today I realized that although I’ve heard from four – all negative – there are still three out there that I haven’t heard from. I checked and it’s been just about six weeks, which, in my opinion, is long enough, or almost long enough.
While I’m willing to be pleasantly surprised, it’s time for me to consider my next move. At the moment my options would seem to be:
- Do nothing. After all I’m still getting small checks every quarter. I don’t like this one much.
- Do another round of submissions to different publishers.
- Start submitting to agents
- Develop a marketing plan to sell more books myself.
There are probably several other things I might do, and I need time to contemplate it all. So what I’ll do today is put think about Powerfully Recovered on my calendar for the next 10 days and see what comes up.
And yes, I’m up for suggestions - please!
