Freelance Writing Jobs - 24 New Writing Jobs Today

by Anne Wayman on January 8th, 2007

jobpencilsHmmm, only 24 new freelance writing jobs this morning. But at least in the San Francisco Bay area, there are a ton of full-time jobs for writers, and a fair number in New York as well.

Tell me about it, Alicia. I keep telling my husband there are some great full-time writing and editing jobs out there, but not where we live.

why should you move? unless you want full-time rather than freelance work.

Well, the first good paying freelance copy writing and editing job I had was full-time (located in San Diego) but I could work from here so it was great.

Now, I have enough things going on that I consider myself full-time, but…

Last week the lady over the writing development department at the new company I’m writing for emailed me and asked me if I lived in that area - I freaked out because I’ve just started with them, and I thought maybe they realized they couldn’t hire someone so far away. Turns out, her editor liked my writing style and wanted me to spend a week in the home office training for a new program. :(

And, the one WV client in the entire world hired you, Anne. LOL!
