Sever Problems!
If you’re a regular here or at any of b5media’s blogs you may have noticed we’ve had some server problems. Bloggers have been unable to post, reader unable to read at sporadic times yesterday and maybe today.
Like so many here I was feeling frustrated, posting my posts in the cracks and watching stats plummet. Emails flew letting us know the super-duper tech force at b5 were and are working their tails off, which I truly appreciate even though I don’t understand the geek speak they must use.
Back into my life drops a client who needs business cards updated and printed by, gasp, Sunday! Thank goodness for VistaPrint. There was a proof of his last card, and for $30 US or so we could have them delivered by Friday.
As I fiddled with the text I realized guess what, VistaPrint was having server problems. It happens to all of us, fortunately not very often.
And why would I agree to work on business cards and a flyer with this sort of deadline? Well the client and I go way way back and I really like what he’s doing… take a look at www.profilelumber.com – it’s sustainable building! Saving the world with lumber.
