Converting Docs to PDF
Since I create ebooks, I’ve had to learn how to convert word docs to .pdfs. Although I own an ancient copy of Adobe’s Acrobat, the original .pdf generator, I don’t like it much.
Instead I use PrimoPDF, a nifty free pice of software you can get at http://primopdf.com/
Works like a charm.
Write well and often,

I’ve used that one before, but have also tried PDF995 from http://www.pdf995.com - it’s also free and works well.

Anne, you’ve done it again. Thank you so much for the tip–I’d been considering buying a copy of Acrobat for just this purpose, so you just saved me a few hundred dollars!

Mac users be aware this process is built in to the Print function and works across all applications, not just Word. In the Print dialogue box, click the “PDF” button, choose “Save as PDF,” and you’re done!
