Good Advice for All Writers
Barbara, who blogs at The Evolution of a Copywriter has a post she calls Simple and Profound.
She quotes Scott Ginsberg saying
“If you’re not holding a pen right now, go get one. Inspiration comes unannounced.”
This is excellent advice for anyone who writes, not just copywriters. She doesn’t, however, solve the problem of the inspiration in the shower… where the heck do I write that one down?
Actually, I get inspired in the shower often enough that I’ve learned to hold the thought, sometimes dripping to the computer to get it down.
Write well and often,

There may be some water proof writing equipment available to hang next to your scrunchie. :)

Yes, the shower. The place where my most brilliant thoughts actually do occur! I do have a vanity table in my dressing room, which is right outside the shower, and this is where I do my journaling (the pen and paper kind!) I have been known to do a mad dash, dripping wet, to write something down (admittedly it’s usually something that I must remember to get at the grocery store!) I know myself too well to trust it to memory for more than a minute or two!
I like Carma’s idea of waterproof writing equipment — probably a million dollar idea!
I truly love that quote — “Inspiration comes unannounced.” Indeed!
