On Hold With Customer Support
I’ve had a problem with the newsletter subscribe page for my new site, Writing With Vision. I use GetResponse to manage things like auto responders and subscriptions for multiple websites. Among other help tools, they offer a live chat which I’ve found is easier then the phone because I can give the rep actual urls they can bang and copy.
There’s another advantage to live help I hadn’t experienced before. For who knows what reason, Jill, the rep, was swamped, so there was considerable delay between my question and her answer. That meant I could actually get some work done in background… and take a phone call.
Ah the wonders of our age.
