I’m Declaring a (Mostly) Day Off
It’s been quite a week for me. I’ve gotten a ton of writing done, and I’m feeling a bit burned out.
Besides, my house is a mess… so I’m declaring today a (mostly) day off from writing. Taking care of myself, giving my mind time to rest and play, is, I know, an important part of the process… so probably is cleaning. Although I don’t like cleaning much, I do like the results.

I don’t do this often enough, Anne. Instead, I’ll grab a few hours here and a few hours there.
I’m reminding myself not to work on Wednesday, July 4th, even though the holiday is smack in the middle of our work week. I may even cut out early the day before, especially if there is a picnic, fireworks display, or other event to take advantage of.

one of the problems with working at home is it’s so easy to work… it’s a problem I’m willing to have, but…
