Looking For A Word?

by Anne Wayman on July 11th, 2007

webSomeone on our forum posted a link to Phrontistery, which apparently means a thinking place. Whew!

If you’re looking for a word, particularly a word that isn’t used very often, or perhaps a particularly subtle meaning, this is the place. It’s also the place if you’re into Scrabble or just want to spend some time exploring language.

Organized in loose glossaries, there are entries for Forms of Government (do you know what acracy is?), Forms of Worship, Nautical terms and much more. There are also helpful resources, and some just plain fun. Bookmark this one.

Write well and often,
