The Golden Pencil: The Freelance Writer’s Resource

A Migraine Day

by Anne Wayman on July 31st, 2007

Yech… there was a snarl in my prescription for the medicine I take to stave off migraines. Sure enough, one struck last night. I’m coming out of it now, but this is all I’m writing today.

I’ll be back tomorrow.

Write well and often,

Anne, I hope you’re feeling better. Those are the most debilitating headaches - I hate hearing that you’re suffering. Try a dark room, a cool washcloth and two pillows under your head. It’s also a good time to meditate - takes your mind off the pain and the eye movement.

lol… and read and sleep… etc. etc. etc. Am better now and off to the doctor in a couple of hours to get the prescription fixed so I don’t have to do this - am tempted to rant about the state of medical care in the U.S…. but probably not… at least not today.
