Honor Life’s Interuptions, and Keep Going
John Lennon said Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans. I got to thinking about this when I found myself feeling singularly uncreative this morning.
It took me a few minutes to realize I was feeling anxious about a meeting with my accountant. In this case, that’s all it took, and I was back at it. But what about other, bigger life events? Is it ever okay to let your writing schedule be interrupted?
You bet it is, as long as you get back to writing just as soon as you can.
I wrote an article about this called: The Ebbs and Flows of Creativity. You might want to read it.

Great philosophy, Anne. So many people take stretches of time off from life, their work, their business, their writing and their dreams because they let life’s interruptions get them way off track. They they wonder why they aren’t accomplishing what they plan to. I’ll have to work this into a post at Home Biz Notes and link back to you.
