The Big Client

Anyone can tap into this client, who offers amazing assignments and pays
I signed contracts with my biggest client ever today. She’s the savviest, wealthiest and most powerful client I’ve ever had. Her assignments are amazing. Her payments generous. And her integrity is stellar. I know she will honor her contracts.
The funny thing is that this client is available to anyone who wants to write for her. And her compensation to all her writers is excellent. I just never signed a contract with her until now.
The contracts were for two books. The ideas had been planted in my head a few months ago and just kept growing. Finally, I needed to act and engage this client to take on these projects.
The contracts were pretty straightforward. I charged my usual fee – $100/hour – and I promised to deliver outlines and rough drafts in 30 and 60 days. I also wrote into the contracts advance fees – $5,000 and $10,000 – which I thought were fair. But because this client has perfect credit, I said the advances could be paid as future compensation. I have no idea what the total project amounts will be; I’m sure I will be paid many times over when they are done.
In fact, I’m not exactly sure how everything will turn out. I don’t know what the final projects will look like, what kind of writing schedule to set, who will be the literary agents or publishers, or what else we might need. But I completely trust this client. I know everything is in her hands. Our success is assured.
You see, this new client is God. She’s sometimes known as Buddha, Allah, Gaia, the universe, divine intelligence, the higher self, or simply your heart. When you sign a contract with God, your success is assured. All you need to do is listen. God will tell you your assignment. Sometimes in whispers; sometimes in shouts. Just listen. Then trust your heart and take action.
After I signed those contracts, I felt really relieved. After several months of no new big projects, I had been worried about my future income. Sometimes I woke up in the wee hours of the morning with panic attacks.
With this new client, I just let go. I know that everything is going to work out. The signed contracts are her promise. I completely trust her. I am a hired ghostwriter for God.
Thanks Helen. Well said!
