Do You Write Music?

by Anne Wayman on March 25th, 2008

blog.jpgAlthough most of the readers here are writing words, my hunch is at least some of you are also writing words for music or even the tunes themselves. Shai Coggins, who blogs at Just Make Money Online (http://www.justmakemoneyonline.com) has a post called: Make Money from Online Music Sharing with Grooveshark.. As a listener you can download music for .99 or thereabouts; as a creator you get a piece of the action.

There are places where writers have what seems to be the same opportunity, except the audience is supposed to be the print media. Is there anything similar to downloading music for writers? Perhaps ebooks will one day be like that. What do you think?

I don’t writer music, although it runs in my family.
My grandfather, Fred Howard Wright, wrote came off of Vodvile(sp) and continued to writer and sing music with his partner Nat Vincent. My versatile grandfather wrote a novel and many a lymrics – funny off color ditties, poems, etc.

Thus far… I believe the ebooks are the only avenue, unless you count the site looking to have articles written that they are offering up for sale to clients. Thus having a backlog of information and articles to offer for sale.
