I’m Not As Flexible As I Like To Think I Am!
If you asked me, I’d probably tell you I’m a flexible person… which would be true, except when it comes to my morning routine!
It actually started last night when I successfully trapped one of the three feral cats we have here with the goal of taking him to the vet for neutering. Poor kitty had no idea what was going on of course, but a towel thrown over the trap seemed to at least quiet him. Then I decided it was too cold to leave him in the car since he wasn’t moving around. (I’m in San Diego… he’s used to being out doors….) So cat, cage and covering towel ended up on my kitchen floor. So about 6:40 I put him in the car and headed out, only to get lost. This is the first time maps.google.com has given me wrong directions!
Fortunately I found a PetSmart open that early and they let me phone the vet I was looking for. Dropped the kitty off and, barely missing the delay of the commute, made it home in time for my phone appointment to be delayed by the client. Whew!
I don’t like my morning routine messed with, even when I do it my self!

I have to admit, I’m not sure, but I think I have a routine.
I know I have to get myself in a routine to make sure I do things like take my meds on time, which, now that you mention it I don’t think I did this a.m. my routine must have been disturbed… so it seems I do have a routine I prefer to stick with.
And it takes a while for me to get back into the groove of things when something “extra” “new” is added to my day.
Hey the more I write the more I realize that YES, I must have a routine.

Oh, Anne, you are so sweet to take care of that cat. Bob Barker would be so proud. :) I do have certain things about my day that really annoy me if they get messed up, but I also don’t really think of myself as a flexible person! LOL. :)

Thanks Kristen… got another one yesterday… two more to go, and they are the shy ones… but not until next week - I’m done with cats this week… well, sorta ;)
