Open Comments Starts… Now!
Yep, open mic comments begins right now (6 p.m. Pacific Time) Let’s see how smart I really am ;) I’m not here right now, but we can “drip” a post for sometime in the future. Unfortunately, the time stamp on the drip widget thinks in gmt or universal time. I’m not real good at that sort of thing, so I looked it up on the web. (What did we do before the web?)
Anyway, the (UTC/GMT) Time Converter said I should plug in 11 a.m. to get 6 p.m. Pacific Daylight Savings Time… so we’ll see if that works.
Unless you want to talk about something else, what are you writing these days?

You were so close! The window opened at 6pm Mountain Time or 8pm Eastern. I’m willing to blame all the changes in daylight savings time.

Hi Anne,
Your time projection was an hour early … it’s about 8:30 ET and I was just getting ready to sign off when I saw your open mic email. So … in answer to your Q … for fun, I’ve been workshopping my novel (after a year hiatus) and for money, I’ve been writing lots of business-type stuff.
Tag, you’re it!

Personally, I’ve found myself doing a lot blogging-for-hire lately. But I’m working on a local history book that I’ve already got a contract for!

It’s 6pm out here in Cali, and I’m not sure if I’m too late or not.
Right now, I’m promoting my new book! Every time I write something on my blog, I think about this.
Also, I signed up to be a paid blogger at dot-mom.com . Not sure how lucrative that’s going to be, but giving it a shot.
Lastly, the most scariest thing, is I started a fiction writing group. My first submission is due Wednesday. Got some stories swimming around in my head, but haven’t put anything on paper.
Thursday - how are the blogging for hire jobs working out for you?

I’m busy working on my monthly poetry review column(http://thefix-online.com/category/features/distillations/). It doesn’t come out until the 15th, but we are going to the beach so I need to get moving on it.
