The Golden Pencil: The Freelance Writer’s Resource

My Story - At Least Part of It ;)

by Anne Wayman on June 13th, 2008

Meryl K. Evans, aka as the Content Maven, is the author of Brilliant Outlook Pocketbook and the co-author of Adapting to Web Standards: CSS and Ajax for Big Sites. She also runs Meryl.net and celebrated the blog’s 8th birthday on June 1. Part of the celebration including asking freelancers to tell how they do it.

With less imagination than usual, I titled my entry How to Become a Freelance Writer. I probably should have called it How I Became a Freelance Writer, sigh. Anyway, that’s what it is, the short version of how I became a freelance writer, so if you’re curious, go take a look.

Write well and often,

Two newsletters:
Abundant Freelance Writing - a resource for freelance writers including 3x a week job postings.
Writing With Vision - for those who want to get a book written.
