Gaining On Back, But…

by Anne Wayman on June 17th, 2008

Ye gods… we humans do for get pain, don’t we. I mean I’ve long forgotten the pain of giving birth to babies, and I’ve forgotten the pain of giving birth to a book enough to begin another one. It’s been at least year, maybe more since my back “went out.”

Wow! Small wonder I’ve been pretty good about working my abs! And that’s helped; I don’t hurt as much as I did last time, which makes me wonder how I survived the last time. I’d also forgotten how tired pain makes me.

Plus, it turns out that today, probably, is the day the power gets turned off while they upgrade my electricity.

I’m off to the library for some mind candy!

I needed to take a break to go to the library too. I love it there - it’s so relaxing. I hope you feel better!

Well, I had an unexpected break… power went out for so long that I only worked three hours. Of course, I’m thankful to have it back on — when people have gone more than a day without it.

It was too dark to do anything. So after whining to my hubby, I settled down and took a nap. One item on my to do didn’t get done, but maybe I needed the break as it was a rough morning before it went out.

Hang in there, Anne. Even when you’re doing it right, stuff happens. Sounds like you’ve done what you could to prevent much of your pain. Sending good thoughts and meditations your way….
