Summer Solstice Blog Off
You may have heard that we’re having a Summer Solstice Blog Off here at b5’s business channel and over at the entertainment channel. It’s in celebration of the fact that today, June 20th is the actual longest day, instead of the more usual June 21.
Our challenge is to blog every hour for 24 hours and many of my blogging colleagues are doing just that! I got as far as a list of 20 topics, with two or three entries written before I realized my back simply wasn’t going to let me do that much blogging in this particular 24 hour period. But, it should be fun to watch the others.
And… it isn’t only for fun! Here’s what it says at b5media.com:
The Business Channel is blogging in support of Accion International (www.accion.org). Accion helps small businesses all over the world to become established through small, manageable loans and business advice. The Entertainment Channel is raising money for The Actors Fund (www.actorsfund.org), which offers help for people in the entertainment industry when a personal or family crisis threatens their well-being.
