Codswallop announced an open source .PDF converter. In addition to doing the usual, it makes it easy to insert a creative commons license into your documents. The program is in beta testing and won’t, at the moment, allow color printing or clickable links… but it’s a good start.

Since I create ebooks, I’ve had to learn how to convert word docs to .pdfs. Although I own an ancient copy of Adobe’s Acrobat, the original .pdf generator, I don’t like it much.
Instead I use PrimoPDF, a nifty free pice of software you can get at http://primopdf.com/
Works like a charm.
